The older sister is the new Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet which, as its name suggests, has a 8 inch with 1.280 x 800 resolution and 189 dpi. Inside we find the same 1,3 GHz quad-core processor but this time accompanied by 1,5 GB of RAM and a battery that promises up to 12 hours of autonomy.
As for sound, while the previous one has a single speaker, here we will find Dolby Atmos Dual stereo speakers. Otherwise, the Fire HD 8 has the same features as the Fire 7: same VGA front camera, same 2 MP rear camera with 720p HD video recording, same dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity and same color options (in Spain, only black).
The last difference is found in its internal storage as this model is offered with 16 or 32 GB of storage. Its dimensions with 214 x 128 x 9,7 mm and it has a weight of 369 grams.
