'Actions on Google' will be available from December for developers and is a set of tools to connect applications and devices with the wizard. It allows developing instructions so that they can be used from Google Assistant. In this way, these devices can be connected for home automation so that from Google Assistant they can be activated in a simple way.
Developers will be able create two types of actions: direct and conversational. The direct ones can be activated by the voice actions that we usually use in Google Now, while the conversation actions are used for a natural conversation between the assistant and the user. This means that the wizard can ask different questions to fill in the user's request. We can already check this when we create a reminder from "OK Google" and as the assistant asks for the body of the message and so on.
