El HTC Desire HD stands out above all for one thing, the screen size. Its 4,3 inches in size with a resolution of 480 × 800 pixels is something that once you have it in your hand then everything becomes small. This is something that in advance some may be a reason to discard this mobile when looking for something smaller and more discreet.

This size also makes using the terminal with one hand, although possible, it is somewhat difficult in some respects. I highlight it in the first video that I leave you below.

This screen is large and its resolution acceptable but of course it shows that we are facing an SLCD screen and it does not look like a Super Amoled at all. The colors are somewhat muted and not at all bright. It is clear that the inclusion of a Super Amoled screen in addition to increasing its cost would have made this Smartphone almost insurmountable.

Another aspect that attracts the most attention, and this time Htc has hit the nail on the head, is his body. It is made from a single piece of metal very much in the style of the well-known Htc Legend but without being the aluminum tone that this terminal brings us. It is a coppery tone, perhaps it gives it a seriousness and a lordship as well as a hardness that few terminals have today.

As for the operation of the terminal, just say that we are facing the highest range of Htc terminals, so it would be strange if it had some kind of problems or failures in this regard. Its 1Ghz processor together with its 768 Mb of RAM makes the entire system fly including the opening of applications, closing them and transitions, in general everything goes very fast.

With its 8 mpx camera with double flash, automatic focus and 720p recording capacity, I think we have the multimedia aspect of the terminal more than solved. It is not a Carl Zeiss optician but from my point of view it does its job wonderfully. In addition, the software that manages the camera incorporates many functions as you will see in the video that makes the "game" that the camera can give us is greater.

Another low point of this HTC Desire HD it's the battery. Already in its presentation, its 1230mAh capacity seemed somewhat scarce and unfortunately we were not on the wrong track. I would say that the purchase of a second battery is almost essential for a medium-high use of the terminal.

Its interface is the second version of Ht Sense, an implementation that we know well from other terminals and that except for a few more widgets and some customization possibilities with new themes does not provide anything newer.

It is worth highlighting the new GPS navigation software that Htc has included, with very clear and direct options and accesses that greatly facilitate its use. But this, rather, I would consider them as complements to Desire Hd rather than as functionalities of the terminal itself, which are points in its favor but which is certainly not the most important thing when deciding on a Smartphone or not.

Summarizing we can say that the Htc Desire is a great terminal, elegant, fast, great for web browsing or even reading the odd book (although personally I would not recommend doing it either in this or in another of equal size or smaller), we can also view multimedia content wonderfully on this terminal With the exception of the somewhat more muted colors and in which we can even see a movie or series without leaving our eyes too much.
