A little over a day ago WhatsApp announced the arrival Status of WhatsApp, or what we have come to know as WhatsApp Status. To speak clearly, it is the fleeting moment that we can share from the WhatsApp Status tab so that any contact can view it.
It is like those Snapchat Moments or Instagram Stories, a pleasant way to convey to our contacts those special moments or those that have little or no reason for being, but that serve us to communicate in that digital life in which we are daily immersed. For a few hours, WhatsApp statuses already is available in our country.
This new feature comes from the server side, so you just have to force app detection from Settings> applications> WhatsApp, or by restarting the terminal itself so that the update is applied.
Once you already have WhatsApp Status, a new tab is added in the main one where we used to have conversation chats, calls and that one for the camera. In this way, when you click on the Status section, you will be able to see the status updates of your contacts that have incorporated an "ephemeral moment" to Snapchat or Instagram.
From now on we will have the button located at the bottom right to create a new State that has many similarities when we create an Instagram Stories. Can add emojis to enlarge them, rotate them or even change its color, include text, and draw. They can be viewed with a few simple keystrokes if the user has several states in a row. So we are facing many similar to other applications, so it can become a functionality that appears in the rest of the competition.
Remember that these moments will be only 24 hours and that may be shared in order to force them to be viewed in individual windows or chat groups.
