This leak confirms the existence of the iris scanner of the Galaxy Note 7

Iris scanner Note 7

We already know that on August 2 we will have a great day with the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 that will bring with it a great novelty regarding the design of the phone with that dual edge screen. Not only will the surprises and qualities of this phablet-type smartphone remain here, but it will also have other type of scanner that will add more options to what has become a standard such as the fingerprint sensor.

A leak for hours, has shed enough light on what is the iris scanner that has been mentioned on several occasions. It was already confirmed by Evan Blass, one of the most recognized news sources, when he stated that this iris scanner would be present in the new Galaxy Note 7 from Samsung. So everything is aimed at a technology that Samsung has been working on for years, makes its stellar appearance in this new device from the Korean manufacturer.

In the leaked image you can see the Galaxy Note 7 lock screen in which you can see what would be the right distance to use our own eyes to identify ourselves and thus unlock the phone. At the top left you can see a notification LED, which would have to do with the mechanism of the iris scanner that would be confirming the user's authentication in order to unlock the phone.

It is not known what type of technology Samsung has used that allows the biometric iris verification to work accurately. So we have to wait until August 2 to know better what this type of sensor can offer us, which would offer another alternative to the fingerprint sensor. Also the question arises as to how this scanner would work with the spectacles on.
