The Samsung Galaxy S8 will arrive earlier and without a physical home button

The Samsung Galaxy S8 could arrive earlier than expected and without a jack connector

After the fiasco and the bad image caused by the failed launch of the Galaxy Note 7, the next Samsung Galaxy S8 will be a fundamental device for the South Korean company with which it will try to improve its image.

And in this sense, a recent report suggests that Samsung will do its best to demonstrate to consumers and rivals that it is still capable of creating great devices.. To do this, the company will introduce major hardware changes to the 8 Galaxy S2017, such as the removal of the physical home button.

Galaxy S8, big changes to regain confidence

In order to stop the bad image provided by the failed launch of the Galaxy Note 7, and which seems not to have ended, Samsung could launch the Galaxy S8 earlier than expected. However, this point has not yet been decided. What the company seems to have decided is to provide its next flagship with great changes and novelties.

According to the latest rumors, Samsung is removing the physical home button from its next flagship, the Galaxy S8. And this forces us to ask ourselves: where will you place the fingerprint sensor? Well, the same report indicates that it will be hosted on the screen itself.

Samsung's curved screens have allowed the company to eliminate the side bezels on EDGE models, and now that curved screen will extend to the top and bottom edges as well. As pointed out from Sammobile, this would imply that the next Samsung Galaxy S8 will be "full screen".

The report also refers to information provided by "a representative of the components industry" to point out that the Galaxy S8 will be the first model in this series to introduce a double camera. Apparently the decision has already been made, and it only remains to be determined whether these two cameras will be integrated into a single module or separately.

Of course, none of this has been officially confirmed so we still have a lot of rumors to hear until the device is released sometime in the first quarter of 2017.
