PowerAMP Equalizer enters beta so you can equalize the sound of your mobile like never before when listening to Spotify and others

Poweramp Equalizer.

PowerAMP Equalizer has arrived in beta to push sound to the limit coming from our mobile. We are talking about an app that is a 'spin off' of the famous PowerAMP media player and that from the beginning of Android was the one that took the best advantage of our musical themes.

Much has changed since those days so now PowerAMP lends itself more to value what it gave it in its day all the popularity, and that was none other than its great equalizer. And it is precisely this very thing that brings us in this beta that we can all try from our mobile. Let's do it with this great app to equalize in real time even the music that sounds from Spotify.

Equalize the sound emanating from your mobile while listening to Spotify

If there is one thing we liked in beta PowerAMP Equalizer, it is because it is a tool that we can use while using our streaming service of favorite music and we want to give that point of quality to the sound. And it is true that it works like a charm when we activate the equalizer of this app that has entered beta.

As we have said, PowerAMP Equalizer is like a 'spin-off' of PowerAMP (and that the year was updated with support for Android Auto) for give more prominence to the equalizer that it carries. In other words, when you launch the app you will see three tabs that allow you to equalize the sound with the bass, midrange and treble, plus another screen where we will go to a series of levels that are capable of shaping the sound output.

As at the moment it is in beta, and for free, the truth that it is not even painted so that we can fiddle with this app and even increase the volume that comes by default on our Android smartphone.

Three tabs to master the sound in PowerAMP Equalizer

From the main tab of PowerAMP Equalizer we have an interface that is divided into two and that in the upper part we have all the sliders, specifically up to 10, for the bass, midrange and treble. At the bottom we are going to two large buttons for bass and treble and thus give more margin to these two aspects of the sound.

Right next to it, on the left side, we have three buttons that interest us but well. Ecu to activate the equalizer and thus 'hear' what it sounds and we can see in the graphic equalizer how our music is playing while we listen to the favorite Spotify playlist (in fact it can be some of these related to freestyle and flamenco from Spotify).

Apart from that we can update the viewer so that abstract images are generated that go to the sound of our music. And the truth is that there are of all the profiles so that the screen of our mobile almost looks like a disco.

Use presets

And of course, and for those who do not want to break the coconut and improve the sound quality of their mobile, we have the presets on that main screen. Like we can configure our presets in a personalized way to save.

In the second tab of PowerAMP Equalizer we go to the main volume, balance and what is the dynamic range compressor (and be careful with this setting because it raises the sound and can make your headphones "pop"). But here we do find settings such as attack, decay, compression ratio, frequency and gain. Settings to sharpen the sound to a more advanced level.

So it comes PowerAMP Equalizer as a complete equalizer and a great tool to accompany our streaming sessions with our favorite service. Now we will see when the model comes out of the beta so that we can enjoy news and updates. A great tool for those who like good sound and good music equalized as it should.
