Kids Tablet will work under the operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and will feature a rugged 7-inch screen. With the little ones in mind, Polaroid will equip it from the factory with 35 premium applications ideal for fun and learning.
The design of the Polaroid Kids Tablet is strong and durable thanks to a cover of rubber and to the resistant edges that will allow the little ones to use it almost like a traditional toy, although with the limitations of a high-tech device.
Polaroid includes drawing, editing and camera applications, as well as games, everything necessary for the little ones to start discovering the world of tablets in a resistant, fast environment designed for them.
The Polaroid Kids Tablet has a 3500 mAh battery to guarantee its autonomy, a Cortex-A8 processor with a frequency of 1.0 GHz and 512 MB of DDR3 type RAM. The camera is 2 megapixels and will be able to display images and videos with an acceptable quality and a maximum resolution of 800 × 480. In terms of storage space, the tablet comes with 8 GB and the possibility of expanding using microSD cards.
An interesting addition to the children's tablet is the reading system. Pressing the option Read to me (Read it to me) the tablet plays the selected words. With the Automatic Play option, the book is transformed into a kind of movie and with Read It the child will be able to read on their own as if it were a normal book. Polaroid has included the highest rated books for little ones through Barnes & Noble, thus guaranteeing hours of usefulness for your new children's tablet.
