Nokia is once again the most reliable firm when it comes to receiving updates

One of the big problems for many manufacturers is that updates take a real eternity to reach the different devices. Although it does not seem to be the case Nokia, owned by HDM Global.

We recently showed you the Finnish manufacturer's roadmap to go Android 11 to its range of mobile phones. Now, we can confirm that once again Nokia is the best firm when it comes to releasing software and security updates.

If you want to always have your phone updated, bet on Nokia

As you can see in the table at the top of these lines, the analysis firm CounterPoint Research has developed a ranking indicating which are the brands that best update their terminals. And taking into account that the entire Nokia catalog has already updated to Android 10, it is clear that the work carried out by the Finnish firm is simply spectacular.

Fragmentation on Android is still a big problem. Mainly because almost no manufacturer updates its entire portfolio. Or it is late ... And, as CounterPoint makes clear, Nokia, OnePlus and Samsung are the only manufacturers that comply with the note in this section. It should be noted that the consultancy took mobile phones from the last 3 years as references, in addition to discarding those that work with Android Go.

As you can see in the graph that heads these lines, Nokia dominates with an iron fist, having updated its 20 phones to Android 10. It is followed by OnePlus in second place, having updated the 7 phones launched by the firm. And watch out for Samsung, which reaches a more than worthy third position.

Especially noteworthy is its update rate, 87 percent. Considering that Samsung is estimated to have produced more than 100 phones in the last three years, it is clear that the Korean manufacturer takes the issue of updates very seriously.
