The Marlin is the larger of the two Nexus that will fall in the month of September from the skies of HTC to try to get along better with the human gods who require new devices with which to continue in that digital life that is taking them to a hyper technological world. We have been getting to know some of the Marlin specs, but it is now when we can almost confirm the most important with this news.
Marlin has gone through AnTuTu to reveal part of its specifications and they lead us to know that it will have a 5,5-inch screen, 4 GB RAM and a Snapdragon 820 chip. Now we can forget about the 821 and focus more on the reality that will be this new Nexus manufactured by the Taiwanese manufacturer HTC that needs good terminals as it is.
The Marlin will have, apart from that 5,5-inch screen, a resolution Quad HD (1440 x 2560). A Snapdragon 820 chip, which is characterized by the quad core in the CPU, integrates that Adreno 530 GPU that will delight users who mostly dedicate their time to gaming from a smartphone.
We cannot overlook its 4 GB of RAM and a 32GB storage; This last detail seems short to us. A 13 MP camera is on the back and an 8 MP on the front for selfies, so in this section nothing to highlight. Having a terminal with a 5,5 ″ screen and QuadHD resolution, the battery issue is very important, so we stayed at 3.450 mAh.
What can we say about the software version as it is the first device to arrive with Android 7.0 pre-installed. A Marlin that is older than its little brother, but that does not have much advantage either, since the biggest differences are in the 5-inch screen and its Full HD resolution (1080 x 1920).
