Huawei will allow some of its models to run Windows 10 through the cloud

After the arrival of Satya Nadella as the head of Microsoft, the options of Windows 10 Mobile in the market have been reduced until its complete elimination from the market, a pity, since the interaction that Windows 10 Mobile offered us with Windows 10 It was ideal for many users, but Microsoft did not know or did not want to get the best out of it.

But it seems that all is not lost, since the Asian company Huawei has announced Huawei Cloud PC, at the Asian CES that is held during these days. This service will allow users of certain devices to be able to run a full version of Windows 10 on your terminals, without having to do practically anything, just install the Huawei Desktop Protocol application.

The interaction of this version in the cloud of Windows 10, will allow us interact with the device stored on our device as if we were really running Windows 10 natively on our smartphone. In addition, if you connect the computer to an external monitor through the USB-C connection, we will be able to enjoy a full desktop as if it were a PC. The devices that are initially compatible with this new function are: Huawei P20, P20 Pro, Mate 10, Mate RS and the MediaPad M5 tablet.

Although the company has not explained how this function works, this is possible because they are Huawei's servers that natively run Windows 10 while the interaction is done from the device itself, a service that sooner or later will also reach video games.

This will allow you to enjoy both Windows 10 and video games on normal computers, but keep in mind not only the internet connection speed, but also the connection latency, a latency that can ruin the user experience. At the moment, the company has not specified at what price this option will be available. We also don't know if you intend to offer it outside of China, where the servers offering this feature are currently located.
