Finally the Google assistant speaks in Spanish !!. What used to be Google Now is now called Google Assistant, (or Google Assistant in Spanish), and as the headline of this post says, since yesterday he already knows how to speak in Spanish And that is why I bring you this video in which I show you some of its features.
Below we explain some of the requirements that Android terminals must meet in order to receive this rollout update of the Google app so that you can equip them with the new version of the Google Assistant in Spanish.
Requirements that your Android must meet for the new Google assistant to be activated
- Google Assistant will only be available for terminals Android 6.0 or higher.
- You must have the latest available version of the Google app.
- You must also have updated Google services to their latest version.
- Have a terminal that has a screen with a minimum HD resolution, or 720p.
- Have a terminal with a memory Minimum 1.5 Gb RAM.
- Languages available today: English, German y Spanish.
If you meet all the requirements that I have explained just above these lines, You should now be able to use the new Google Assistant instead of Google Now.
As I show you well in the video that I have left at the beginning of this article, the big difference between the old Google Now and the new Google assistant is that now he is much smarter and recognizes what you are saying without having to stick to a specific command to the letter.
Apart from this, it is not a small thing since you will not have to learn commands to the letter and you will be able to talk to the assistant in a more natural way, this new Google assistant, or rather "I would call the Google assistant since it is a female voice that answers us"It will also respond to you with a more natural voice in which it even puts intonation to the phrases it responds to.
I show you a good example in the video when on several occasions I ask the Google assistant to tell me a joke.
Apart from this, how is it to suppose, the new Google assistant is capable of doing everything it already did and much more how to remind you of things, tell you the weather that is going to be in your city, translate texts, tell you the time, tell you jokes, do mathematical operations, convert currencies, measurements, weights ..., ask yourself simple games, tell you what is near you, guide you anywhere and much more like enabling / disabling your smartphone connectivity, raising or lowering the brightness of the screen or simply having a relaxed and carefree chat.
And has Google Now been updated to the new Google Assistant?
I've been testing it for a while now and it pleasantly surprises me ..
Well, they could choose the wizard or "now on tap" that was a joke to take captures and send them without having to save the capture
How strange that he does not say the time or time out loud, or the result of mathematical operations
