European airlines ban the use of the Galaxy Note 7 during flights

Galaxy Note 7

A few days ago we told you in Androidsis that in the United States it was prohibited to fly with a Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The Federal Aviation Administration prohibited access to these terminals on all flights, whether in a pocket, carry-on luggage or checked luggage, under fine and other court problems if users do not comply with said ordinance.

All this is nothing more than a consequence of the problem that these terminals present and that are causing losses of billions of millions to the Samsung company. Considered in the United States as dangerous material and therefore prohibited, in Europe these extremes have not been reached, yet, but measures are already being taken to regulate the use of these terminals during flights.

Thus, the European Aviation Safety Agency has already given a series of recommendations in this regard. The main one is that under no circumstances should there be a Galaxy Note 7 in the hold of an airplane, so it is totally forbidden to introduce one of these terminals in checked baggage. They also recommend airlines not to allow the use of this smartphone on board aircraft.

One of the main European companies, Lufthansa Group, has already announced that it will follow these recommendations closely and that it will not allow users to use a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on board any of its aircraft. The large German company stipulates that in its airline or in any of its subsidiaries it will allow neither the use of the terminal nor its load, and what should be taken completely off throughout the flight and not just during specific moments.

Unheard of news and action for an unheard of event in the world of mobile telephony. Sooner or later, European airlines will also take the definitive measure of banning their access to airplanes if there is still some "brave" who keeps their Galaxy Note 7 in use despite Samsung's own recommendations thereon.
