On August 19, Asus could present up to three variants of the Zenfone 4

The presence and importance of the Asus firm in the smart mobile phone market has been accentuated over the years, and now that we have passed the equator of the year 2017, the Taiwanese company trusts continue to increase its market share from an upcoming event that will take place on August 19.

This media event will be held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, Philippines, and is rumored to see the growth of the Zenfone 4 family which, in addition to the recently announced Zenfone 4 Max, will add three new members: the Zenfone 4, the Zenfone 4 Selfie and the Zenfone 4 Pro.

At the moment, very little is known about the new models of the Zenfone 4 series that Asus would present in less than twenty days, however, different rumors point in the direction that the star device of the event will be the Zenfone 4 Pro. Possibly, this model has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and a 5,7-inch screen with Quad HD resolution that would confirm its status as a flagship.

Asus already released some images hinting at a possible dual main camera setup however, this does not imply that all new models in the Zenfone 4 line will have two main camera sensors. In fact, one has already been leaked that hint at the lineup will feature a dual rear camera. That's not to say that every Zenfone 4 will feature two main camera sensors, although it would be a standout feature of the series.

The only member of the Zenfone 4 family that has already been officially launched is the Zenfone 4 Max, a device that stays true to its name thanks to a massive 5.000 mAh battery. This phone also has two main cameras, as well as 4 GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 425 or Snapdragon 430 processor, depending on the model. The problem is that the Zenfone 4 Max is still available only in Russia.
