The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is a terminal that comes with an AMOLED technology screen consisting of a size of 6,8 inches and FullHD + resolution of 2.480 x 1.116 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and touch sampling of 360 Hz. This screen, which is also curved on the sides, is also capable of producing a maximum brightness of 1.500 nits.
The processor chipset that lives inside this device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, a mobile platform that consists of a node size of 4 nanometers and is capable of working at a maximum clock frequency of 3,0 GHz. At the same time, this SoC is paired with an LPDDR5 type RAM that is of 8 or 12 GB, while the internal memory UFS 3.1 that it boasts is 128 or 256 GB and cannot be expanded through the use of a microSD card.
The camera system found in the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is made up of a 787 MP Sony IMX64 main shooter with f/1.6 aperture, a 787 MP Sony IMX64 wide angle and a latest photographic sensor that works as a telephoto periscope and is also 64 MP. In this sense, the phone has functions that allow you to take photos of moving objects and the sky at night, so that the stars and the Moon can be clearly detailed and with little or no image noise. Added to this, the main camera is capable of recording videos in 8K resolution at 30 fps.
For its part, the front camera sensor of the Axon 40 Ultra, which is located below the screen, as we highlighted at the beginning, is of 16 MP with f / 2.0 aperture and it is only capable of recording videos in FullHD resolution at 30 fps.
The battery that gives life to this high range is one of 5.000 mAh capacity that features support for 65W fast charging technology via a USB-C input. This, thanks to the aforementioned fast charge, can be fully charged in just over 40 minutes.
Regarding other features, It comes with support for 5G networks. In turn, it has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC for contactless mobile payments, GPS with A-GPS and Bluetooth 5.2. It also has stereo speakers, a fingerprint sensor under the screen and a liquid cooling system that helps reduce the temperature when the mobile is used excessively, demanding apps or games are run, or it is very hot. It should also be noted that it comes with the Android 12 operating system, so, at a minimum, it will be updated to Android 14 or 15. In turn, the version of the customization layer with which it was launched is MyOS 12.

Price and Availability
The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra has been launched in Spain and practically all of Europe in black. Nevertheless, It will start selling from this coming June 21 through the brand's official website. It remains to be seen if it will later be officially available through the catalogs of different operators or other retail websites such as Amazon.
The advertised price for this device in the Spanish market is de 829 euros for the version of 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage space and 949 euros for the most advanced variant, which has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory.
