Onda V919 AIR DualOS, we analyze a powerful DualOS tablet at a laughing price

We continue with the analysis of Android terminals, in this case with a sensational tablet Android and Windows 10, that is DualOS, which can become one of the star gifts of these Christmas holidays thanks to its attractive design inspired by the new iPad Air and with some interesting technical specifications at a price of real madness.

The tablet in question is the Wave V919 AIR DualOS which we can find in two different models depending on their storage memory. Thus we can find a model with 32 Gb of internal storage for just 123 Euros and a second model with double the internal storage, that is, 64 Gb that we can purchase for just 140 Euros. Some tablets that we will now tell you all the details about, both the good and the not so good.

The best of the Onda V919 AIR DualOS tablet

Onda V919 AIR DualOS, we analyze a powerful DualOS tablet at a laughing price

Without any doubt, the best of this tablet Onda V919 AIR DualOS, apart from its scandalous and unbeatable price in its range, we can find it in its metallic finishes that remind us very much of the design of the Apple iPad AIR as well as its excellent IPS screen with retina display technology and QXGA resolution that offers us a level of brightness and a quality to the touch that is truly worth noting and typical of high-end tablets.

On the other hand, its technical specifications with a whole 1,83 Ghz quad-core Intel signed processor of maximum clock speed, together with its more than enough 2 Gb of RAM memory and the possibility of change at will as we need it between Android and Windows 10, make the terminal more than recommended both for working with it and for our moments of leisure and fun.

Another thing that we have to highlight and we cannot stop talking about it, is his large built-in battery of nothing more and nothing less than 7200 mAh which ensures an autonomy of about 11/12 hours of screen.

In addition, a characteristic in its favor and that we can forget to tell, is that Onda has already confirmed that this sensational tablet will receive the official update to Android 5.1 Lollipop shortly as well as, having a fully legal Windows 10, you receive official Windows updates on a regular basis.

Pros

  • Sensational Premium finishes
  • IPS QXGA Retina Display
  • Intel processor
  • MicroSD card slot
  • Large 7200 mAh battery

The worst of the tablet Onda V919 AIR DualOS

The worst without a doubt about this great DualOS tablet, we find it in its lousy built-in cameras, both of only 2 mpx resolution and that they will only serve us for video calls and video conferences as a webcam.

Finally, comment that although we can not highlight it as a bad thing, especially worked from Windows 10 or when Onda launches the update to Android 5.1, highlight that the 32GB version of internal storage falls short in terms of internal storage memory, so much so that in order to install official updates for Windows 10, we will need to have a MicroSD inserted to use it as a support storage for the operating system. That is why on several occasions I recommend you in the attached video that if you are going to buy one of these tablets, for just 20 Euros more you get the 64 Gb version.

Cons

  • Terrible cameras
  • 32 Gb model somewhat scarce

Can you tell which forums you have entered to know when the update to Android 5.1 arrives and where to look for the tutorials to make a windows 10 disk image? I bought it and for now it's great, the only bad thing is that I can't find an optimal cover / keyboard

Pablo on the same page of Onda-Tablet.com I have found a cover with keyboard for my V919 Airduos for 24 dollars.

  7.   Pablo said

Luis I have seen the one on the page but I was looking for one like the one in the photo, keyboard with trackpad and close it like a laptop. I have written to them and they tell me that they do not have it, that it is only for the photo.

It does not give twelve hours of screen or joke, it has given me 5 and a half hours, it heats up easily, and the battery meter barely drops while you use it, so if when you use it again, you may find that it has eaten 3-5 or 8% (I imagine that is what it should have lowered during use, but it is somewhat uncomfortable). In windows it seems that the truth is going well. A pity about the android since the tablet itself has a good design and good finishes, but the issue of the battery and heating ......

I have managed to start Android by toggling the power and volume button at the same time. Is there a way to go from one system to another simpler? Is the update automatic?
