Motorola is back with two new phones for the quality-price segment. These are the Motorola G13 and G23, two phones that promise to be one of the most competitive low-end of this 2023.
Both have interesting features that we will detail in depth below. At the same time, have been announced for Spain. What do they have to offer? We see it.

Motorola G13
The new Motorola G13 and G23 hardly have appreciable differences, both aesthetically and in terms of features and technical specifications. And it is that at the level of designs they are identical, since they bet on the same body designed in polycarbonate with a triple camera on the back and a screen with a hole for the selfie camera.
And, when it comes to the features and technical specifications of both, they both come with the same 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. In addition, in terms of performance, they also have the same Mediatek Helio G85 processor chipset, a SoC with a node size of 12 nanometers that boasts eight cores that operate at a maximum clock frequency of 2.0 GHz. Of course, the The former is only offered with 4 GB RAM, while the G23 has been announced in two variants: one with 4 GB and one with 8 GB. Also, both have an internal memory of 64 or 128 GB that fortunately can be expanded through the use of a microSD card.
In photographic terms both are also very similar, as they share some sensors. The main one of both is 50 MP, has an aperture f / 1.8 and only allows you to record video in a maximum resolution FullHD 1080p at 30 frames per second. Both also come with a 2 MP macro lens that features an f/2.4 aperture. However, the Motorola G13 makes use of a secondary 2 MP depth lens with f/2.4 aperture, while the G23 ditch this sensor in favor of a 5 MP wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies, the first has a 16 MP lens with f/2.45 aperture and the second with a 32 MP lens with f/2.0 aperture.
Motorola G23
For the rest, both come with 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS, NFC for contactless payments, USB Type-C input and a 3.5mm connector for use of headphones. They also feature a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric unlocking, facial recognition, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and IP53 grade splash protection. They have also been announced with Android 13 under Motorola's My UX customization layer, so they will be upgradeable to Android 15 in the future.

Price and availability in Spain
Both the Motorola G13 and the G23 have been announced for Spain, but there is still no definite date of its arrival on the market. However, this would be announced soon and the phones would be on sale in the first quarter of the year.
The price of the first is about 180 euros, while the second has been presented with an official starting price of about 230 euros.
