The Taiwanese HTC has announced a new low-end device designed for two specific markets, which are South Africa and Russia in an initial way. The company confirms the launch of HTC Wildfire E Lite, a fairly sober phone designed for those looking for a terminal with the basics.
El HTC Wildfire Lite is a variant of the already known HTC Wildfire E2, although in this case its components are reduced and so does its price. The manufacturer has previously featured phones as HTC Desire 20 + y HTC Desire Pro 21, the latter the first with 5G connectivity as standard.
HTC Wildfire E Lite, an eye-catching low-end
This model starts by mounting a 5,45-inch screen with HD resolution (1.440 x 720 pixels), the aspect ratio is 18: 9 and the IPS LCD comes protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The frame shows quite large bezels both above and below, having only a 76% screen.
The processor chosen for the HTC Wildfire E Lite is the Helio A20, the graphics chip that accompanies it is IMG PowerVR GE with which it has enough for the fair. The storage reaches 16 GB, but there is the possibility of expanding it through MicroSD, the RAM is 2 GB.
Already in the cameras section the Wildifre E Lite arrives with two rear sensors, the main one is 8 megapixels, supporting a VGA to be the depth sensor, the HDR stands out for improvement in the photos. On the front in the middle you can see the 5 megapixel selfie sensor.
Battery to last many hours of operation
The Taiwanese manufacturer confirms that the battery is 3.000 mAh, with 250 hours of standby, it allows 25 hours of talking and thanks to MediaTek's A20 it is capable of lasting around more than 30 hours in use. The best thing about it is that it is enough to feed it and the durability will depend on the use you give it.
Charging will be done through the lifetime of the Micro USB port, which will cost more than one hour to charge, while the manufacturer recommends about 8 hours for the first one. The positive is that it includes a factory application to save battery at times of not using the device.
Connectivity and operating system
El HTC Wildfire Lite It is well equipped in connectivity, it is a 4G phone, it is accompanied by Wi-Fi b / g / n, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, it is Dual SIM and it comes with Micro USB for charging. The fingerprint reader is placed on the back, as if that were not enough it also adds facial unlocking.
The system is Android 10 Go Edition, arrives with the last update of the month of December, it remains to be seen if in the future it receives a superior update. It comes with the Go applications installed, including YouTube Go, Gmail Go and other Android services such as Maps Go.

El HTC Wildfire E Lite arrives in a single color option, in black, so other options for the consumer are ruled out. The price of the phone is ZAR 1,549 (about 86 euros to change) in South Africa and in Russia it will cost about RUB 7,790 (87 euros).
