Applications to optimize Android are they really necessary?

Within the world of applications for Android, there are many of the so-called tools that supposedly serve to optimize Android and make the world's most used mobile operating system more efficient. But what is true in these applications? Are they really effective and necessary for the good performance of our Android terminal?

Next I am going to give you my personal point of view about these applications that among their characteristics and functionalities promise us to optimize Android to get a better performance from our terminals than in itself, at least the mid-range and high-end terminals, They are true laptops with technical specifications that often surpass laptops.

Mainly in this category of applications o tools that promise to optimize Android for a much faster, fluid or even much safer operation, we usually find two large groups. The first of these could be the calls cleaning applications o cleaning apps, which are usually composed of several tools such as RAM free space, cache cleaner or file search engines by weight to know what kind of files are occupying the internal memory of our Android devices.

Applications to optimize Android are they really necessary?

These applications called "Cleaners", for me personally they are a clear scam and hindrance for our Android terminal. First of all because our own Android operating system, within its Settings / Applications They already have tools that will, for example, clear cache memory releasing it without the need for external tools of any kind that all they do is fill the internal memory of our Androids with useless applications.

As for the part of the RAM memory of whether or not to clean it manually, to use or not to use external tools to do it. I'm just going to tell you a phrase: «RAM is to be used and Android is efficient enough, especially from versions 4.0 onwards, to automatically manage RAM memory and close applications that we have stopped using when managing our operating system requires more RAM and more system resources. ».

A good proof of this can be found when we have several open applications running in the background and we try to run a game or application considered heavy, at that time, The Android operating system is capable of closing all the applications that we have running in the background, to give priority to the execution of the aforementioned application or game. Has it ever happened to us that when leaving a game of your favorite game we have found that the RAM memory of our Android terminal is totally free as if we had used one of these RAM memory cleaning tools?

The only thing we get with these RAM unlocking or cleaning tools is consuming more battery, since when eliminating the applications stored in the RAM, the operating system has to reopen them completely with the consequent extra expense of resources and considerable drain on the battery of our Android terminal.

Applications to optimize Android are they really necessary?

Regarding the category of applications named uncertainly antivirus for android, most of them to begin with are a sham or scam that the only thing they do on the user is the so-called placebo effect, or what is the same, they offer us an unreal and uncertain security that can even be dangerous.

Then there are some antivirus programs that are actually applications that are supposedly designed to protect our Android, although I already told you that they are the least, but They are so green or are too safe that they won't even leave you install an application in APK format because surely, in most cases they will detect it as a trojan or virus.

In the case of antivirus for Android is not necessary for me since it will only be enough to follow certain common sense rules to be safe from the various threats that threaten the Android operating system. Some safety rules that we can summarize in these points:

  1. Try download only apps from the official Android app store. I mean the Google Play Store.
  2. In the case of installing applications external to the Android Market, always be sure of the site where we download it and that the source is safe.
  3. Do not browse pornographic sites with our Android since that is where most of the threats to our terminals are found.
  4. Always look at the permissions that applications ask us that we are going to install on our Android, even those that we download or install from official stores such as the Play Store or Amazon Apps.
  5. Connect to trusted Wi-Fi networks.
  6. Do not connect our Android to unfamiliar computers such as call shops, public libraries, etc., etc.
  7. Have USB debugging disabled and only activate it when we really need it.
  8. Have the permissions to install applications from unknown sources disabled. We will only activate them when we really need them.

As you can see, all the norms or rules that I have described here are rules of the purest common senseJust as you would not leave your house keys to a stranger or leave them anywhere, the rules to safely use your Android are as simple as those that are governed in your daily life.

This time I strongly disagree with you, first, in high or medium range with 2 or more Gb of ram it is very easy to manage it, not so in a low range with 512 mb of ram, the operating system occupies input more than 300 mb, you occupy yes or yes a memory optimizer, I had a huawei g510 and until I installed the Seeder the phone began to be usable

It is true what you say JC Melgarejo, if you have a low range of 512 mb of ram, you need whether or not to manage the memory, and as for the antivirus, so it is so, there are well-known brands of PC that have good versions for android , some lighter than others, but they are necessary, they do not hurt, and common sense is also valid, of course

It seems to me that not all antivirus are like that, and memory optimizers work, for example I have a moto g I use the clean master, once I happened that I was installing a game from the playstore and it crashed and was canceled, and I was taking up space that I could not delete or use, since if I put downloading again it began to take up more space, it did not recognize what was already downloaded, it was there when I used clean master and holy remedy. And as for the antivirus, if it works because it detects the most "dangerous" apps (because it is capable of greatly editing the android) and potential virus files stored and gives me the option to delete or leave them. Ex: I detect framaroot in a core with cm security

I don't really agree with the article. My phone is a free Samsung Galaxy s3 with stock ROM with 1Gb of RAM and android 4.3, and I do see a good cleaning app in certain cases, like mine. There are heavy games, see Real Racing 3, which have a specific circuit (Circuit 24 heures - Le Mans) that pulls a lot of RAM, in fact, I have to free the whole thing with an external app (all in one toolbox 29 in 1) ram possible, and I can only run that circuit if I have at least 500MB of RAM free. As "officially" there are no more updates for this terminal, I cannot know if with another version of android such as kitkat the RAM memory manager will be better, I do not know it. If I did not have that external app, I could not play certain races, for example, the game or the app, or whatever, stops me, and returns me to the main desktop, without the possibility of sending a report, which sometimes can. And like me, I know more cases in which I have recommended putting this app, especially to free up RAM.

Very agree with you jimg, I have 1 gb of ram on the phone and after several hours of use, where I have already opened many applications, the phone starts to "stun" a bit, I pass the Clean Master broom to him and Voila! !, the phone is just as fluid and responds as always ... ... I do not buy that "excellent android memory optimization", if it were so good these things would not happen ....

Simple folks: root, greenify, clean master and voila. The phone like silk

Your point of view is very respectable.
01 • but as you should know, we use third-party apk spindles for reasons that are not compatible with the tab or fone that we have due to previous versions or because there are no more in google estore. So don't tell yourself that antivirus is not important. Better to be cautious than to regret it.
02 • Although it is true that the android system is capable of managing the ram memory and closing the applications automatically. It is not as effective for this task as advertised therefore if it needs to be done manually. In order not to close applications that are then opened again, you just have to mark them so that they are not closed

Hello everyone, I was reviewing countless posts to optimize my HTC one x pucha every time I opened the chrome it would freeze and it stayed like that for a long time I was seeing some comments to solve my problem I agree that the optimizers are necessary but it depends on the memory RAM that you have used x years the master clean closed and the apps were reopened again .. I don't know if it's a good idea .. I tried everything until my cell came back as it came from frabica and nothing .. and from so much and so much I tried with the application setCPU Root ... Holy remedy now my cell is going great super fast and the screen does not freeze when I browse or anything great excellent all you have to do is be root ... But you can clearly see the difference and it is not necessary to use even clean Master ... This app is not a task killer itself ... What it does is improve the speed of the cell processor, you just configure some parameters and voila there are many tutorials ... I recommend it especially if you have a low-end cell ... my HTC… it worked great for me…

How important are these apps in modern cell phones, since I downloaded Psafe I forgot many things that worried me before.

These applications are all crap, the only thing they do is consume resources and connect to the Internet, I mean, they leave your phone slower than a contradiction, right? In addition to working as spyware

I have tried the clean master, master UI etc, the only thing I got is that the cell phone was overheating to 60% so much that the screen film made balloons, it has not burst the fart cell. What I know is that with avast he solved the issue of the load a lot but he was still very suspicious of antivirus, they are very spies.

Ami would freeze and sometimes improve speed until my cell phone or any app worked now I no longer install anything my Mobo works better without sham or deception.

Well, of those that I have seen out there, the one that I liked the most and it has worked best for me to optimize the space of my mobile is this that I am going to show you, I hope it will help
