Although it is true that most smartphones that have reached the market in recent years, are resistant to splashing water and dust, they are not shockproof unless you use a specialized cover. For those users who work or enjoy the outdoors in special conditions Samsung has the XCover 5.
The new Samsung XCover 5 that the company has just presented, is designed for field work such as industry, construction, quarries, for those who practice sports ... where any accident or fall of the mobile it may mean throwing it out directly in the trash.
The XCover withstands drops of up to 1,5 meters and offers IP68 water and dust resistance, which allows us to submerge the terminal for 30 minutes in more than one meter of water, it also includes the MIL-STD810H military certification.
In addition, it incorporates what Samsung calls glove mode, by which the touch sensitivity of the screen is enhanced to offer a greater response in any environment. The screen reaches 5,3 inches with HD resolution.
It has the Push to Talk function, to be in contact with the push of a button, establish a specific function for each physical key (emergency calls, flashlight, maps ...) and it is protected by Samsung Knox.
Inside, we find the processor Exynos 850 accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The 3.000 mAh battery is replaceable and compatible with fast charging. Inside, we find Android 11
La rear camera incorporates a 16 MP sensor with aperture of f 1.8. On the front, we find a 5 MP front camera with an aperture of f 2.2. It has an NFC chip. At the moment the price is unknown.
This new terminal will come to Europe, Asia and Latin America throughout this same month of March.
